I'm certain you're aware of social media. Is there anyone who isn't? Are you thinking: "Social media, schmocial media... it's a time waster." Or do you believe it can help you build your client base as a coach? If it's the latter, you're on target.

New NetworkingNo matter how you feel about social media, I think we'll all agree that in order to get new clients, they must first know you and trust you before they're going to sign on the dotted line. In order to know and trust you, you have to have a relationship with them. Social media provides the perfect venue for you to begin building relationships with your prospects... in an objective and non-threatening way.Think of it as you would any networking event.

Sure, you attend to meet prospects to let them know about your services and how you can help them, but I think you'll agree there's also a social aspect to these events. And be sure to listen to what others have to say. Remember, you're using social media to nurture your relationships with your prospects.
