The Best Quentin Tarantino Films Of All Time

Few directors have such a distinct style that you can tell a movie is theirs without any previous knowledge. In my opinion, one of those directors is Quentin Tarantino. Tarantino manages to showcase his personality and unique sense of storytelling in any movie he is associated with. His is one of the true auteurs of his generation, and the movie business is better for having him around. When it comes to choosing Quentin Tarantino's best movies, it is not such an easy task as they are all great. Here are my top five favorites. The first movie I will mention is what you can call "an oldy but a goody." Of course, this is an "old" film relatively speaking, as Tarantino is still a young guy. Reservoir Dogs is the film I am talking about, and if you want to see a movie that captures his essence, this is it.Another incredible film by Quentin Tarantino was Kill Bill: Volume 1. Many people get into heated debate about which film from this duo is better, volume 1 or volume 2? For me, Volume 1 set the precedent and is the better of the two movies. One movie that absolutely has to be on any list of Tarantino films is Pulp Fiction. This is considered one of the best films of all time by many, and it comes as no surprise to those that have seen it that it ranks amongst the top 15 films of all time according to imdb.com.Another fantastic Tarantino film is True Romance. Tony Scott actually directed this movie, but it was Quentin Tarantino who wrote the script, and it clearly shows. My favorite scene from this movie is the scene with Christopher Walken and the late Dennis Hopper. Classic Stuff. One other film that I absolutely loved was Inglorious Basterds. My girlfriend does not like many movies, but this one won her over. That is a good benchmark for me in knowing a film is great!Hopefully there are one or more films from the great Quentin Tarantino on this list that you have yet to see.

One of the more underrated actors working these days is Ethan Hawke. He quietly puts out great movies and chooses challenging, yet interesting roles. He is one actor who is impossible to say that he has a certain role he likes to play. For these reasons, Ethan Hawke has become one of my favorite actors recently. This article will take a look at some of his best films over his career. One movie that certainly has to be included on this list is Training Day. If you like cop movies, then this is a must-see. Hawke got nominated for best supporting actor in this movie, while Denzel Washington won the Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his performance.Another movie that featured Ethan Hawke that I thoroughly enjoyed was New York, I Love You. This movie is a remake of a film about Paris with a similar name and features a bunch of short films within the film. Hawke's scene in this movie is one of my favorites.Another film that definitely makes the cut for me is Great Expectations. This movie was based off the Charles Dickens novel of the same name, and stars Hawke, Gwyneth Paltrow, Robert De Niro, Anne Bancroft, Hank Azaria and Chris Cooper.
